Well, now that the formal introduction’s out of the way:
I’ve thought about setting up my own blog for a few years now but just never got around to it. After working with my first real web project, though—a home page for a video production company in Cleveland, Tennessee that I co-founded (5:01 Studios)—I decided that this whole code thing was actually kind of fun. Masochist that I am, I promptly jumped headfirst into building and customizing a place of my own—or at least a creative outlet of sorts.
I’ve populated the archives with old LiveJournal posts, unwilling to delve deeper into my online past than that (believe me, separating the chaff from the few I put up here was depressing enough). If you’re ever bored, give a couple of them a read—seems that I called the housing crisis and the failure of the Iraq war long before they happened (which, of course, took a tremendous amount of prescience).
Feel free to leave a comment or drop me an e-mail with your thoughts.

Hey, when is the next update? I check everyday hoping that you have posted something new and everyday I leave disappointed.
Yeah…sorry about that. I was actually going to get the next one up last night, but circumstances intervened. This wedding planning has been completely throwing off my good intentions as far as writing goes.
I’ll tell you what I told Chad, though—the e-mail and/or RSS subscriptions will keep you from having to check all the time, should you wish that burden to be removed.
